Update on one of our Veterans

The DVA is a very devious organization. When our Veteran's Congressman's staff met with the DVA and confronted them with the record of what the DVA had done to him, the DVA man asked for two weeks. He knew Congress was about to go into recess, and that in two weeks none of the staffers would be in DC. So follow-up will wait until after Labor Day when Congress returns.

Needless to say, the Congressman's staff, and the Veteran's attorneys a PO'd beyond all recognition.

In the meantime, the regional office sent a packet to the Veterans denying him benefits for diseases he actually never claimed. He also got a letter saying his "...claim had been received but there had been so many lately...etc."

"Delay, deny, until they die" at work in this instance.

Obviously, the DVA is rife with anti-Veteran sentiment up and down their chain, and lying to the face of Congressional staffers is probably worth a promotion.

The DVA has repeatedly displayed a callous disregard for the true rights of Veterans, a lack of respect for those who fought, and often spilled their blood for the right of the very people now passing judgment on the Veterans to seek and hold those jobs.

I wouldn't give a flying fig for any of those DVA bloodsuckers. They've got their cushy government jobs and to hell with the American Veteran.

And this goes all the way to the top, to Secretary Shinseki and his boss, and the many men who preceded him in the oval office. Collectively they have turned a blind eye to the needs of Veterans for the care they should be given. The attitude of the bloodsuckers that "delay and deny until they die" stems from the attitudes in the Whitehouse from Andrew Johnson until the current occupant.

It is the shame of a great nation that their leaders, and those who work for them are such small men with small minds.
