Haas was on the USS Katima a ammunition Ship with max speed of 13.1 knots and would have only entered the 12 mile limit to off load Cargo Light Cruisers and theother craft did in fact operate far within the 12 mile limit to provide support fire for our troops. Do you suppose the agent orange stopped at the shoreline so the present Viet-Nam shrimp industry will not suffer any legal actions from american civilians who consume these shrimp. They could not have any Dioxin in them as the dioxin cannot cross over from the land to the sea according to the VA, and others who dont want this trade compromised.

Excellent article. It correctly depicts the plight of Blue Water Navy Vietnam Vets. These Vets served honorably only to have the Veterans Administration turn its back on them.
